Q: What is the difference between the Sky Lounge and the Vista Lounge?
A: The Vista Lounge has a large seated area indoors and 2 large outdoor areas for guests to enjoy. Ploughman’s lunch is included. Drinks are available for purchase at the fully licensed bar.
The Sky Lounge is the upper deck offers a private seated area indoors, an outdoor area and direct access to the bridge where guests are welcome to engage directly with the captain. Sky Lounge guests are also welcome to use the downstairs areas. Ploughman’s lunch is included, as well as beverages, freshly shucked local oysters and seasonal seafood tasting.
There is seating, fully stocked bars, heating, air conditioning and toilets on both levels.
Q: What should we wear?
A: Tasmanian weather is incredibly changeable so be sure to pack warm clothing, even on a fine day. We recommend comfortable, flat shoes.
Q: What should we bring?
A: Other than some warm clothes, we do suggest you bring a camera!
Q: What is a “Ploughman’s lunch”?
A: The Ploughman’s lunch is a bento box full of delicious Tasmanian produce prepared by the Head Chef at Freycinet Lodge. It includes a selection of cured meats, cheese, salad and a little chocolate!
Q: What happens if the weather is bad?
A: We will inform guests with as much notice as possible and offer either a full refund or alternative cruise date.
Q: Do you offer any concessions?
A: Unfortunately, we do not offer any concessions.

Q: What if we get sea sick?
A: The ocean has motion. If you are prone to sea sickness, don’t risk it, there are several brands of tablets available from your local chemist at Swansea or Bicheno. You can buy Kwells at the local convenience store in Garnet Avenue.
We offer complimentary ginger tablets at check in, we also sell sea bands for $5.
