Experience the tranquillity of Tasmania’s Freycinet Peninsula on a journey that will refresh your soul and revitalise your senses.

The Wineglass Bay Cruise transports you from the gentle coves of Coles Bay along the Freycinet coast to one of the world’s best beaches at Wineglass Bay.

On your fully guided morning cruise, your experienced skipper will share his vast local knowledge as you explore the Freycinet Peninsula’s stunning coastline in a way that few visitors can. Discover the natural and human history of this extraordinary place while our first mate, Rastus the sea dog, keeps an eye out for dolphins.

Cruise beneath the ruggedly beautiful pink granite cliffs that rise from the Tasman Sea, skirt forested capes and discover hidden, sea-swept bays. En route, you’ll encounter some of the Peninsula’s remarkable wildlife including graceful white bellied sea eagles and prolific sea birds. Keep watch for pods of sleek dolphins, cavorting seals or if you’re lucky, the unforgettable sight of majestic whales on their yearly migration.

Selected data from wildlife observations gathered on our cruises are recorded and sent to the Nature Conservation Branch of Tasmania to assist with their research.

At anchor in Wineglass Bay, you’ll have time to absorb the true peace of this beautiful place as you taste some of Tasmania’s finest produce. Sample freshly shucked Freycinet Marine Farm oysters, still dripping from the sea and served with a glass of fine Spring Vale sparkling wine and creamy Ashgrove Farm cheeses.

Relax and soak up the scenery on your return journey, after an unforgettable morning’s adventure.
